To get started with this recipe, we have to first prepare a few components. You can have khandvi using 25 ingredients and 12 steps. Here is how you cook that.

The ingredients needed to make Khandvi:
  1. Make ready FOR ROLLS:-1 cup Bengal gram flour (besan)
  2. Make ready 1 cup curd (Dahi)
  3. Take 1 cup raw mango juice(kacche aam ka pani)
  4. Take 2 cups water
  5. Take 1/4 th tsp turmeric (haldi)
  6. Take 1/2 tsp salt (or as per your taste)
  7. Get 1 tbsp mint paste (or you can take pudina chutney)
  8. Get pinch asafoetida (heeng)
  9. Make ready for stuffing:-
  10. Get 2 tbsp grated coconut
  11. Get 2 tbsp grounded peanuts
  12. Get 1 tsp sugar
  13. Take few drops of lemon juice
  14. Make ready for tempering:-
  15. Take 2 tbsp oil (preferably ground nut oil)
  16. Take 1 tsp mustard seeds(Rai)
  17. Make ready 1 tbsp white seaseme seeds(til)
  18. Prepare 3-4 green chillies slit
  19. Make ready 1 tbsp sugar
  20. Get 3 tbsp water
  21. Get pinch salt
  22. Make ready 5-6 curry leaves
  23. Make ready For garnishing:-
  24. Prepare 1 tbsp grated coconut
  25. Prepare fresh chopped coriander
Steps to make Khandvi:
  1. To start with rolls :- mix all the given ingredients for rolls in a bowl whisk it well. Now add this batter in a heavy bottom pan(for better results take a non-stick pan).
  2. Now keep stirring this batter on low flame. Till the batter becomes semi-solid.
  3. Spread this mix on a flat surface. Make sure that you spread it evenly and you get a thin layer.
  4. Once you are done with spreading the batter apply little oil on it.
  5. Allow it to rest for 10 mins.
  6. Meanwhile mix all ingredients of stuffing and spread this mixture on the roll mix.
  7. Cut strips and roll it.
  8. For tempering: heat oil add mustard seeds, seasme seeds, green chillies, curry leaves, sugar, salt and water allow sugar to dissolve and add this tempering over the rolls.
  9. Garnish it with fresh coriander and coconut.
  10. For better taste Refrigerate it for 15 mins and serve.
  11. The yellow colour of khandvi rolls, white colour of coconut and green colour of coriander makes this dish looks so appetizing and also it tastes amazing.
