  18. Prepare 1 cup water
  19. Prepare 2 tsp sugar

  22. Take as required Chopped coriander leaves to garnish
  23. Make ready 2 tbsp grated coconut for garnishing
Instructions to make Gujurati Khaman Dhokla:
  1. At first, take a mixing bowl sieve gram flour (Besan), then add semolina, and add other ingredients mentioned above except baking soda then mix well and make a smooth batter of Dhokla consistency. Add water if required.
  2. Then rest it for 20-25 minutes.
  3. Now add Baking soda and mix well. Then immediately steam the Dhokla batter for 15 - 20 minutes.
  4. Meanwhile, temper the tempering ingredients in a pan.
  5. Then transfer the Dhokla to a plate and cut it and pour the tempering ingredients soon after tempering it.
  6. Garnish it with chopped coriander leaves and 2 tbsp fresh grated coconut.
  7. Finally, serve it with chutney and sauce.
